Privacy Policy for Proof Universe

Proof Universe ("the App", "we", "us") is a self-affirmation journaling app. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we collect:

• Your email address (used to identify your account)
• The content you create in the App: your Truths, Evidence entries, and any colour customisations you choose

We do not collect your name, photo, contacts, location, or any device identifiers beyond what's required for basic app functionality (such as push notification delivery, if you enable reminders).

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to provide the App's core functionality:

• Storing and syncing your Truths and Evidence across your devices
• Displaying your personal "universe" visualisation
• Sending optional local reminder notifications, if you enable them

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication), a cloud infrastructure provider operated by Google. Firebase stores data on Google's servers and is subject to Google's own security and privacy practices. We do not operate our own servers.

Data Sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties, advertisers, or analytics companies. The only third party involved in processing your data is Google Firebase, acting as our infrastructure provider.

If you choose to subscribe to Proof Pro, subscription and payment processing is handled by Google Play Billing (and RevenueCat, our subscription management provider). We do not receive or store your payment card details — this is handled entirely by Google Play.

Your Choices and Rights

• Export your data: You can export your Truths and Evidence at any time from Settings, in JSON and Markdown formats.
• Delete your account: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account. This immediately and permanently removes all your Truths, Evidence, and account information from our systems.
• Delete your account without the app: If you no longer have access to the App, visit our Account Deletion page or email us at the address below.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Children's Privacy

Proof Universe is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
